Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will win California over rival Joe Biden, the Associated Press reports with 96% of votes reported.
Sanders, who took home more losses than wins on Super Tuesday, leads with 34% of the vote and 210 delegates while Joe Biden is at 27.2% with 162 delegates.
Despite Sanders win, he is behind Joe Biden 887 to 731 delegates with a narrow path to victory in the coming weeks and months.
The total amount of delegates needed to win the democratic primary nomination is 1,991 delegates.
Tulsi Gabbard is the only remaining candidate in the race with 2 delegates.
