Police pursuit in San Fernando Valley resulted in arrest of driver
Los Angeles County, California – In the late hours of Sunday night, the Los Angeles Police Department was pursuing a silver car that was speeding throughout the San Fernando Valley.
Several witnesses reported having seen the vehicle traveling at high speeds through Chatsworth, Winnetka, and Tarzana before coming to a stop in Tarzana.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s helicopter was following the chase above when police units arrived behind the vehicle.
The motorist was seen driving on the wrong side of the road at one point, until coming to a dead end where he did a U-turn.
The chase ended when the vehicle hit a sidewalk, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and eventually crash into a fence.
Authorities said the driver did not resist arrest.
There was no additional information disclosed.
