Standoff involving a homeless man prompted a lockdown of Hollywood High School
Los Angeles, California – The lockdown of Hollywood High School on Wednesday morning was prompted by a confrontation with a suspect who is suspected to be armed.
The standoff started in the early morning on Wednesday with a homeless man with a tent in the neighborhood of Selma Avenue and McCadden Place, according to Los Angeles police.
According to the latest know information, no shots were fired in the standoff as of 9:40 a.m. Details regarding the cause of the standoff were not released.
Larchmont Charter School and Selma Elementary school were put in lockdown following the incident.
