California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for SR91 after a fatal crash

Riverside, California – A SigAlert was issued for State Route 91 in Riverside on Tuesday morning as a result of an accident that caused the death of a motorcyclist.

The accident took place near the Van Buren Boulevard exit shortly before 8 a.m.

Information about the cause of the crash was not made public pending an investigation.

The name of the victim was not made public as authorities still did not identify them.

A SigAlert was issued for the area by the California Highway Patrol while the investigation is taking place. At this time, it is unknown when the SigAlert will be lifted.

A detour was set up to reroute traffic away from the accident site.
