Person of interest taken into custody for questioning in connection with a shocking discovery where authorities excavated human remains from a “family-friendly” mobile-home park

Huntington Beach, California – After discovering a female body buried in a mobile-home park in Huntington Beach this weekend, authorities said that a person of interest has been taken to a police station for questioning.

Officers were sent to a mobile-home park on Slater Avenue after receiving several reports about a foul odor spreading in the area.

After conducting a short investigation upon arriving at the scene, authorities excavated a human body from the back of a home on the property, which was later determined to be the remains of an adult female.

Information on the manner of death as well as how long the body was buried was not released.

The death was deemed suspicious, and authorities said specific details will be released once a thorough investigation is conducted.

The identity of the woman will be made public after her family is notified.

Just after midnight on Sunday morning, one individual was taken into custody for questioning. The name of the individual was not revealed.

The surrounding community was very disturbed by this discovery, especially because the mobile-home park is considered family-friendly.
