Long Beach police arrested a woman, who was in violation of a restraining order, after responding to a report of a conflict between neighbors

Long Beach, California – An arrest was made early in the morning on Friday at an apartment complex in Long Beach of a woman who, according to the police, was in violation of a restraining order.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, police were sent to the 2300 block of East Second Street at around 12:10 a.m. when Lorrene Lake, 58, was located and taken into custody by the officers.

According to police, Lake was booked into jail on suspicion of felony criminal threats, felony possession of a firearm in violation of a court order, and misdemeanor violating a restraining order.

Officers responded to the apartment complex after receiving a report of a conflict between neighbors.

According to a statement released by the police department, “Upon arrival, officers contacted the calling party who stated one of the residents in the complex, a female adult suspect, was in violation of a restraining order.”

Responding officers recovered an inoperable firearm that was found in the possession of the suspect.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Lake was being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
