Two Powerball tickets worth $1 million each sold in California

According to the California Lottery, two Powerball players in the state of California matched the first five numbers drawn on Wednesday to win a million dollars each.

The Eastland Food Market in Ontario was where one of the five winning tickets was purchased. According to the officials from the lottery, the second ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven located at 1838 in Milpitas.

The following numbers were drawn for the Powerball jackpot on Wednesday: 2, 11, 22, 35, 60, and the Powerball number 23. The jackpot was worth $1.2 billion.

The lottery officials have said that there was not a winner of the Powerball jackpot on Wednesday’s draw. The jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is expected to be somewhere around $1.5 billion.
