One dead after two-vehicle accident in Wilmington
Wilmington, California – A two-vehicle crash happened yesterday in Wilmington in the 1100 block of West Harry Bridges Boulevard.
The initial investigation showed that the accident occurred when the 40-year-old driver of a vehicle traveling southbound on King Avenue was about to make a righthand turn onto Harry Bridges Boulevard and was struck by another vehicle.
The 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the vehicle who caused the accident was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The identities of the people involved in the crash have not been released.
Los Angeles Fire Department officials said people were trapped inside the vehicles.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
