Police say the two missing Covina girls have been found safe
Covina, California – Two middle school children who had been reported missing from Covina late Thursday night were located safe early Friday morning. The police expressed their gratitude to the community for their assistance.
Covina Police Department posted on their Twitter account, “The girls have been found! Thank you all for your help!”
Authorities were alerted about the disappearance of 12-year-olds Nevaeh Bolagh and Celina Heredia on late Thursday night. The mother of one of the girls received a call from her daughter, who said they were in an intoxicated state at an unknown location in east Los Angeles.
There was no information available on the girls’ conditions.
