LAPD conducting an investigation into Hollywood apartment complex shooting that left two wounded

Los Angeles, California – The Los Angeles Police Department is conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that took place on Sunday morning in a high-rise apartment complex in Hollywood.

Police got a call about a shooting in the 1200 block of N. Gower Street at approximately 1:30 a.m.

Responding officers from the Los Angeles Police Department located two people who looked like they had been shot upon arriving at the scene.

The victims, who were said to be in their 60s and 20s, were transported to a hospital for treatment. While the status of the older guy is said to be stable, the condition of the younger man is still considered to be critical.

The initial investigation revealed that the shooting incident was preceded by a verbal argument between two Black male suspects. Both of them fled the scene following the shooting and are still at large.

Additional descriptions of the suspects were not made public.

The investigation is ongoing.
