Man with a developmental disability went missing again in Long Beach
Long Beach, California – Public help is needed in locating a 48-year-old man with a developmental disability who was said to have escaped again from a care facility, according to Long Beach police.
Authorities say David Quiroz, 48, was last seen on June 10 around 12:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Walnut Avenue in Central Long Beach.
The latest information indicates he departed from the care facility on foot and loves visiting convenience shops in the area. Quiroz is suffering from medical conditions that may cause him to become lost or to behave like a child with temper tantrums, and he may also look aggressive.
The Long Beach Police Department provided a description of Quiroz, saying he is a Hispanic male, standing 5’ 10′′ tall, weighing around 210 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. A clothing description was also provided, saying Quiroz was dressed in gray pants, a white T-shirt, a blue flannel shirt, sandals, and white socks.
This is not the first time that Quiroz has left the care facility, and the previous time he went missing, he was located in a medical facility in Yorba Linda.
Anyone with information on Quiroz’s location is asked to contact the Missing Persons Detail at 562-570-7246 or police dispatch at 562-435-6711.
