Authorities investigating a thwarted robbery in Carson that sent one person to the hospital

Carson, California – The authorities are looking into reports of a thwarted robbery attempt that took place at a Bank of America in Carson.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were sent to the bank at around 11:20 a.m. located on W. Sepulveda Boulevard and S. Vermont Avenue.

The events that led up to the shooting were not immediately clear. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, one person was hurt during the incident and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The police have not released any information on the shooters. Anyone who may have information is urged to call the LASD’s Carson Station at 310-830-1123.
