Local authorities are looking for the suspect responsible for the Tuesday afternoon armed robbery at McDonald’s on East 4th Street

Long Beach, CA – The Long Beach Police Department is trying to identify and locate the suspect responsible for the armed robbery that took place on Tuesday at McDonald’s on East 4th Street.

According to the incident report, the incident took place on Tuesday around 1:50 p.m. and officers were dispatched at the scene following a 911 call in regards to an armed robbery.

When officers arrived at the McDonalds located in the 1000 block of E. 4th Street, they were told by the restaurant employees that a man entered the restaurant, brandished a firearm, and demanded for the victim to open the cash register.

Fearing for their safety, the restaurant worker complied with the suspect’s demands, opened the register and handed the robber all the money.

That’s the moment when the suspect left the restaurant and fled the scene southbound on Bonito Avenue. When authorities arrived at the scene, the suspect was already gone.

At this point, no additional information was given by the local authorities.

There is ongoing investigation about the incident. The local police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect.
