Motorcyclist hospitalized following a hit-and-run accident on 710 Freeway

Long Beach, California – Police responded to a hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle that occurred on Sunday afternoon on the 710 Freeway south of Willow Avenue.

The motorcyclist sustained injuries as a result of the accident that took place at approximately 1:53 p.m. in the fast lane of the highway, according to a spokesperson for the Long Beach Fire Department.

The suspect car involved in the accident was described as a gray Ford Fusion that did not have any license plates. According to authorities, the Fusion fled the scene following the crash, leaving the motorcyclist behind suffering from injuries.

According to the Long Beach Fire Department, responding crews took the injured motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment. Information on their condition was not revealed.
