Another crash involving a Metro train occurred in Long Beach within days; driver injured
Long Beach, California – In just a few days, a Metro A Line train crashed again in Long Beach, but this time the victim fortunately sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, a crash between a Metro A Line train and a vehicle took place in the 1500 block of Long Beach Boulevard at approximately 3:25 p.m. on Saturday, and the driver of the vehicle was hurt.
Officers were sent to the scene in response to the report of the crash, and located an injured female driver.
Long Beach fire crews took the driver to a hospital for treatment. It was said the woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the accident.
There were no reports of any further injuries.
Additional information regarding the crash was not revealed.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
