One man hospitalized following a shooting in North Long Beach

Long Beach, California – A man was taken to the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound on Sunday morning in North Long Beach.

According to the information provided by the Long Beach Police Department, the incident took place at around 12:33 a.m. in the vicinity of Artesia Boulevard and the 710 Freeway overpass.

According to the police, responding officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital by members of the Long Beach Fire Department, where, according to the authorities, he was treated for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.

There is currently no suspect information available as the incident is still being investigated.
