Multi-vehicle accident in Orange County left two people dead, one in critical condition

Seal Beach, California – A multi-vehicle accident on the 405 Freeway in Seal Beach claimed the lives of two people and left another in critical condition.

The California Highway Patrol reported that six vehicles were involved in the crash.

Authorities believe the accident might have been caused by a wrong-way driver.

First responders were sent to the location after a report of a crash on the southbound freeway at the 605 Freeway.

They arrived at the scene a couple of minutes after the call came in at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning and discovered that two people had been killed in the accident.

Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Greg Barta said that one person was transported by paramedics to a hospital for treatment of what were said to be life-threatening injuries.

In addition, two people who were hurt in the crash were treated at the scene and didn’t want to go to the hospital.
