Female hitchhiker fatally struck on State Route 241 in Santa Ana

Santa Ana, California – A female hitchhiker was fatally struck by a vehicle on Sunday afternoon around 9 p.m. along State Route 241 in Santa Ana.

According to the authorities, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident closed several lanes in the area of the Santiago Canyon Road off-ramp for about an hour.
