Hit-and-run crash in Long Beach resulted in one pedestrian being injured

Long Beach, California – A hit-and-run crash took place over the weekend in Long Beach.

According to the authorities, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Central Long Beach, and the driver of the vehicle reportedly fled. The police are currently searching for the hit-and-run driver.

At around 6:34 p.m. on Sunday, police were called to the vicinity of Pasadena Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway in response to reports of a hit-and-run crash that resulted in injuries.

The victim reportedly informed responding officers that he was struck by an unidentified vehicle while crossing the street, and the driver fled the scene prior to their arrival.

The man was transported to a hospital for treatment of what were said to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is underway.
