Missing children found safe at relative’s home
Los Angeles, California – Police found the three children who had been reported missing after being left alone in a vehicle for many hours have been located, according to authorities.
The three children, aged 3, 7 and 10, were last seen late Thursday between Adams Boulevard and Compton Avenue, south of Los Angeles, when they were reported missing.
According to authorities, the children were left alone in the vehicle where they live with their mother. When the mother returned to the vehicle, she couldn’t find her kids.
At approximately 7 a.m. Friday, authorities said that the youngsters had been found at a relative’s residence.
According to statistics from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, over 16,500 people were living out of their vehicles in Los Angeles County in 2019. A census report said an estimated 10,300 people were living in automobiles in the city of Los Angeles in 2020.
