Firefighters extinguished a vacant structure fire in East Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California – Fire crews put out a fire that had broken out in a vacant structure in East Los Angeles on Monday morning.
Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at an abandoned two-story structure on E. Whittier Boulevard at approximately 7:45 a.m.
The fire was extinguished and prevented from spreading to nearby buildings in the area in no longer than 15 minutes by responding crews.
There have been no injuries reported.
The investigation into what may have caused the fire is ongoing.
