Los Angeles Animal Services lowering adoption fees over the weekend

Los Angeles, California – Los Angeles Animal Services is lowering the fees associated with animal adoption in an attempt to ease the process of finding permanent homes for animals.

The Los Angeles Animal Services has announced that the adoption cost for dogs will be $51 and the charge for puppies will be $75 on Saturday and Sunday in honor of “Adopt a Dog” month.

A licensing charge of $20 will be applied to dogs that are older than four months. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has made a very generous donation, which means that there will be no adoption fees for cats and kittens this weekend.

All six of the department’s facilities will have animals up for adoption. To find the location that is most convenient for you, please click here.
